Through the generosity and support of the Indianapolis Museum of Art, the bronze torches honoring May Wright Sewall (1844-1920) will return to their original location to illuminate the steps of Herron High School. The award comes with a $25,000 cash prize and was announced during an assembly hosted by Dr. Tony Bennett, Superintendent of Public Instruction and attended by several lawmakers and community leaders.
